"Love, Love, Love" was written two days after a California judge ruled Proposition 8 unconstitutional. I was ecstatic when I heard the news, and knew I had to write something to celebrate this victory for the LGBT community. I wanted the song to reflect the spirit of the folk/protest songs written in the 60's during the civil rights movement, without which this victory may never have come about.
